Cruise-Ins start this week at Bridgewater Falls

Celebrate summer at Bridgewater Falls with weekly Cruise-Ins and Farmers Markets beginning this week, July 3, and continuing 5 to 8 p.m. every Thursday through October 16.

The Classic Car Cruise-In returns to Bridgewater Falls for its fifth year. Music will be provided by DJ Toad each week in the event’s location behind Mattress Firm and Party City. A $25 Bridgewater Falls gift card will be awarded each week to the online “Car of the Week” contest winner.

The Farmers Market kicks off in The Village Pavilion between WG Kitchen & Bar and Two Little Buds Florist and will feature local farmers, growers and vendors selling fresh produce and homemade items.

The commencement event on July 3 will feature dash plaques (while supplies last) and two cars will be awarded trophies at 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. There is no car registration fee for the cruise-in. Display cars should enter the event behind Mattress Firm (across from Target).

New in 2014, Bridgewater Falls will be partnering with local radio stations WGRR and WFOX to promote the cruise-ins. JD Hughes of WGRR will be broadcasting live from Bridgewater Falls during the July 3rd Cruise-In. WGRR and WFOX will host a weekly online contest where the “Car of the Week” winner will be awarded a $25 Bridgewater Falls gift card. Log onto http://www.wgrr.com or http://www.foxcincinnati.com beginning July 3 and click on the Bridgewater Falls Classic Car Cruise-In link on the homepage to upload the pictures from the Bridgewater Falls cruise in. Photos must show the WGRR or WOFX registration card to ensure photos are from the Bridgewater Falls Cruise-In.
