Board of Elections offers pay for poll workers

The Butler County Board of Elections is in need of 1,800 poll workers for the Nov. 4 election. 

Those who apply and are accepted will be paid $160 for the day they work at a polling place. Workers are also paid $10 to take online training and will attend a three-hour training course at the beginning of October.

Poll workers report to their assigned polls at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3 to set it up. They again report to the poll at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4 as it opens at 6:30 a.m. for voters.

Polls close at 7:30 p.m.
