Miami Hamilton Talk to Focus on Health Care for Spanish Speaking Community

Miami Hamilton’s Association of Latino and American Students is sponsoring a talk on the Affordable Care Act for the Spanish speaking community at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17.  Free and open to the public, the event will be held at the Harry T. Wilks Conference Center.

This talk is for those who want to discuss health care options with someone in Spanish. Health care topics to be covered are how to obtain health insurance for kids, how to qualify for Medicaid now even though you were not eligible before, and tax penalties if you don’t have health insurance. Participants are welcome who have health insurance but would like to change it.

For more information, call Pat Camacho at 513.785.3071. Miami University Hamilton is located at 1601 University Blvd.
