The Lane Libraries Present Free Performances for Children

The Lane Libraries present lively performances from outstanding area entertainers this summer for children of all ages.

Mark your calendar for a performance from the Madcap Puppets as they present “Aladdin & Friends” on Monday, July 13, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the RiversEdge Amphitheater. Aunt Susie’s coat closet has become the stage for their marvelous show, but it barely contains their giant puppets and enchanting stories from around the world.

Then join us for a show with Mr. Puppet on Tuesday, July 14. The first performance will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the East Butler YMCA and the second will be from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Booker T. Washington Center. Everyone will laugh and learn from the silly characters in Mr. Puppet’s family, which include marionettes, hand puppets and ventriloquist dolls.

These programs are free and open to the public. RiversEdge is located at 16 Dayton St., Hamilton. The East Butler YMCA is located at 6645 Morris Rd., Fairfield Township. The Booker T. Washington Center is located at 1140 S. Front St., Hamilton.

For more information about these and other programs at the Lane Libraries, please call 894-6557 or visit the Lane website at
